Nine hundred students out of 48,000+ students nationwide participated in MathCON’s online competition, held from January to March, are expected to compete in the 11th annual MathCON Finals held on April 27th at the McCormick Place West Building, Chicago.
The MathCON finals competition is a day-long event, which promotes a 100-minute timed test comprising 40 multiple-choice questions and student constructed responses covering a range of mathematical disciplines.
The event will bring together elementary, middle and high school students to compete for various prizes and national prestige through various math questions and activities. In addition to the finals, students at this year’s competition will enjoy entertainment provided by InJest Comedy Show with Nels Ross, the opportunity to compete in math-related games, and more!
