SIGEP, the International Gelato Arts & Crafts Fair, Confectionery, Bakery and Coffee, will be held in Rimini, Italy, at the Rimini Expo Center from 18 to 22 January 2020, together with the AB Tech Expo , the Bakery Technology and Products Fair

Spain, Germany and France will be the best represented countries at SIGEP, the International Gelato Arts & Crafts Fair, Confectionery, Bakery and Coffee, organized by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), which will be held in Rimini, Italy, at the Rimini Expo Center from 18 to 22 January 2020, together with the AB Tech Expo , the Bakery Technology and Products Fair. The share of international exhibitors, this year at 20% , with foreign brands from more than 30 countries , rises at the fair, in entrepreneurship ,Internationality and high education are in the center of attention.

The SIGEP 2020 will also provide more space for international companies to meet representatives of leading markets. And the interest from the world of foreign associations is growing. In fact, the SIGEP can collaborate through the 9th Gelato World Cup , the most important competition in the world of handcrafted gelato, in which Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia , Japan , Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Poland, Argentina, Colombia and Hungary participate with Confédération Nationale des Glaciers de France ( France ), Anhcea – Asociación nacional de heladeros artesanos ( Spain), Afadhya – Asociación Fabricantes Artesanales de Helados y Afines ( Argentina ), Uniteis – Associazione dei Gelatieri Italiani in Germany and the Singapore Pastry Alliance ( Singapore ).

The 2020 edition will also feature the return of the Stars of Sugar , a unique and spectacular contest designed to create magnificent sugar sculptures, and the Bread in the City bakery competition, now in its fourth edition from eight teams from the Netherlands , Spain, Peru , Japan , China , Switzerland, Germany and Taiwan , as well as the Russian Ice Cream Association , which represents industrial ice cream producers in Russia, and the Restaurant Owners Association of Quebec (ARQ – Association Restaurant Quèbec) expected.

The coffee front will feature the SCA, Specialty Coffee Association (the association that has brought together the European and American SCAA associations over the past three years).

Thanks to the Italian Trade Agency – ITA , SIGEP in Rimini will also welcome international buyer delegations from Southeast Asia, the United Arab Emirates, North Africa and all of Sub-Saharan Africa, the United States and various South American countries. Other activities have been supported by IEG’s regional advisory network in India, North and South Africa, Central and South America, South-East Asia and several European countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, France and the Benelux countries Spain, Poland, Russia and the CIS.
