MercuryGate Unveils Velocity 2022 User Conference Agenda Featuring the Future of Transportation & Logistics Management

The company’s first in-person user conference since 2019 will feature 35 sessions, roundtables, technical learnings and customer-led presentations – showcasing collaboration in smart, data-driven transportation management of the future.

CARY, N.C., October 20, 2022 – MercuryGate® International, Inc., (MercuryGate) the largest dedicated transportation and logistics management solutions provider, today announced its Velocity 2022 conference agenda featuring industry-leading speakers, customer-driven, innovation-focused presentations and major sponsors of the event. Held live for the first time in three years, Velocity 2022 is November 7-9, at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“We know that a modern transportation management system (TMS) is much more than a tool for the administration of freight transactions, it is the lifeblood of a supply chain lifecycle,” said MercuryGate President and CEO Joe Juliano. “We developed our Velocity 2022 user conference agenda with an eye toward the expansion of MercuryGate’s next generation of transportation management capabilities. Technology that was once viewed as merely a foundational layer is giving way to intelligence-driven solution suites that detect exceptions and identify optimization opportunities throughout a shipment’s lifecycle. The world is moving beyond the automation world – to the information realm – and so is MercuryGate.”

MercuryGate is one of the world’s most widely used transportation and logistics solutions – annually supporting more than one billion logins, 1.8 million deployments and 100 million shipments for many of the world’s largest brands.

Velocity 2022 will feature keynotes from thought leaders, industry analysts, subject matter experts including MercuryGate’s own roster of leading experts from its leadership and technical teams. Speakers will address trends and issues impacting the transportation and logistics industry and provide insights on innovation and capabilities available today and those to come that address industry’s most pressing needs.

Record-setting attendance is expected at the live event as hundreds of customers and partners representing shippers, logistics service providers and 3PLs will be on hand to share success stories and network with peers. The conference lineup will also include content and informational kiosks from major sponsors Amazon Freight, Surge Transportation and SMC3. More than a dozen additional event sponsors include leading digital freight providers, 3PLs, logistics service providers and industry consultants.

Conference keynote speakers will include astronaut Scott Kelly and industry analyst Brock Johns. Kelly, a former NASA astronaut and retired U.S. Navy Captain is a spaceflight record-holder and an experienced test pilot having logged more than 15,000 hours of flight time in more than 40 different aircraft and spacecraft.

Johns is a senior principal analyst at Gartner on supply chain research. His research covers transportation technology with a focus on transportation management systems and freight audit and payment. He will share insights on the current and future state of logistics and key themes that will shape the industry’s near-term outlook.

We are making significant investments in visibility across the first, middle and last miles – marrying them with execution and workflow capabilities that demonstrate the value of the largest dedicated transportation and logistics management solution.”
