Dardilly and Tel Aviv, April 6, 2020

Delta Drone has been invited, as a leading player in the civil drone sector and with regard to its portfolio of professional solutions, to participate for 2 days, on April 6 and 7, in the first dematerialized international conference dedicated to innovations professional technologies to effectively combat the Covid-19 pandemic:

Covid-19 Innovation Conference Worldwide Online Investment Event

This dematerialized conference, organized by the Life Sciences department of Cukierman & Co bank will bring together, via a sophisticated multimedia system allowing group presentations and one-to-one interviews , all the actors concerned by the problem: pharmaceutical groups, research laboratories, solutions technology company, as well as a very large panel of international investors and scientific experts.

During this conference, Delta Drone wished to highlight, among the various solutions of the Group likely to be used in the fight against the epidemic, the Swiss company Aero41, specialized in spreading by drone, and of which Delta Drone is the largest shareholder.

For 2 days, Frédéric Hemmeler, CEO of Aero41 will present the advantages of its drone spreading solution and its effectiveness for the distribution of disinfectant products. The precision spraying of the nozzles, the deposition regulation technology of the on-board product and the robustness of the equipment are all technical characteristics which make the Aero41 solution a very suitable response for spraying in demarcated areas.

The Aero41 solution is already operational in Switzerland and Austria for spreading in the vineyards. Following numerous and recent requests, particularly from several countries in the Middle East, the company has successfully tested the adaptation of its technology to the spreading of different phytosanitary products.

Thanks to the support of Delta Drone, Aero41 will quickly be able to further improve the performance of its solution: the design office of Parazero, the Group’s new entity established in Tel Aviv, will thus be responsible for working on all R&D and engineering aspects in close collaboration with operational teams based in Switzerland.

Christian Viguié, Chairman and CEO of Delta Drone, explains: “We are delighted to give Aero41, which is fully part of the Group’s“ ecosystem ”, the opportunity to present its solution in a prestigious and international setting. The drone spreading solution developed by Aero41 enriches and completes the range of professional solutions now deployed by the Group, in France and abroad. Thanks to the natural synergies developed within our organization, we can now provide Aero41 with the R&D capacity of our Parazero design office in Tel Aviv, thus creating a new axis of development between Switzerland and Israel at the Group’s overall development department. Other solutions in the range are likely to be used effectively in the fight against Covid-19 pandemics. Technical feasibility studies are underway and could quickly lead to concrete proposals addressed to the authorities, organizations and companies concerned. ”

Faced with the current Covid-19 pandemic, the Aero41 solution is thus the first of the solutions making up the Delta Drone system portfolio to be put forward, as a credible response to a crisis situation and to the expectations of both the authorities and population.
