Canon Medical to Present at HIMSS 2021 August 9th-12th
Vital, a Canon Group company, to exhibit at HIMSS as Canon Medical for the first time.

MINNETONKA, Minn. – For the first time ever, Vital Images will present at the HIMSS conference as Canon Medical Group. This comes after the recent announcement of Canon’s strategic plans to reinforce its global healthcare IT division and integrate Vital Images fully into its brand. From August 9-12, Canon Medical will be both on the show floor at this year’s Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Annual Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada in booth #4237 and virtually within a digital booth experience.

HIMSS attendees, in-person and digital, can engage in discussions about innovation, enterprise imaging, telehealth, remote reading, and more.

Lead the Disruption
This year at HIMSS, visitors can experience a live innovation showcase – featuring disruptive technological moments in history – and discover how Enterprise Imaging is disrupting the Healthcare IT industry. Canon Medical is calling on customers to be an innovative force within their organization. The booth theater presentation showcases moments in history where disruptive forces in technology changed everything, and the innovative people and organizations that led the way. Healthcare leaders looking to bring innovation to their sites can download an innovation kit and schedule a complimentary assessment.

“While other industries have adopted new technologies that have influenced our day-to-day, healthcare has historically continued to lag behind,” says Steve Andersen, Executive Vice President of Enterprise Imaging Business, “We’re highlighting these innovations to motivate attendees to get disruptive and to lead the charge in improving the industry.”

Donate to Innovate
Canon Medical will be contributing to tomorrow’s leaders by donating to Girls Who Code and Geeks Rule, two organizations who work to inspire the next generation of barrier-breakers in technology. When visiting the Canon Medical booth, in-person and digital, attendees will activate a donation towards these causes.

Lunch and Learn Session:
In-person attendees are invited to hear from two experts as they discuss innovative ways to lead with disruptive technology through the power of AI, enterprise imaging, cloud, and the Learning Health System.
