In celebration of its 30th anniversary, and as the only nationally accredited protocol, cross-cultural awareness and etiquette educational institution, The Protocol School of Washington (PSOW) will host the 2019 Global Education Summit from August 21-24, 2019 at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. Over a comprehensive three-day period, the summit will offer a diverse program of educational sessions and presentations by accomplished industry experts focusing on the most important aspects of global diplomacy. PSOW is proud to announce that protocol officer graduate Brian O’Connor, vice president communications for Princess Cruises worldwide, has accepted an invitation to serve as the chairman of the 2019 education summit. Bill Treasurer, best-selling author, speaker and international business expert, is confirmed as a featured speaker during a keynote session on leadership essentials.

“Our 30th anniversary summit is a unique opportunity to create professional relationships based on cultural understanding, effective communication and mutual respect,” said Pamela Eyring, president and owner of The Protocol School of Washington. “From global executives and diplomats to government leaders and entrepreneurs, this will be a unique gathering of international thought leaders to discuss the importance of civility and cultural sensitivity in our interpersonal relationships. Restoring these values can help us all live more enriched and prosperous lives.”

Brian O’Connor stated, “I’m honored to serve as chair of the 2019 education summit to curate content and program engaging professionals who are subject matter experts in a diverse range of relevant topics. Attendees will have access to world-class education training and form meaningful personal and professional relationships with protocol professionals from around the world. In my view, it’s the must-attend summit of the year.”
