Asembia 2019 Specialty Pharmacy Summit Features Presentation by Dean Erhardt, CEO, D2 Consulting, Focus on Changing Landscape, New Players and Value-Based Purchasing

“We are honored to be presenting at this year’s Summit and interact with the key players in the specialty pharmacy industry,” says Erhardt. “During my presentation, attendees can expect to learn more about the role of payers in the emerging value-based payment models for specialty pharmacy as well as the impact on pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers for delivering value. The changing landscape that includes emerging technology providers, new payer organizations resulting from mergers and acquisitions, and new participants, requires greater understanding of market changes. During this session, I will provide guidance on how manufacturers might consider changing market dynamics.”

This 15th annual Specialty Pharmacy Summit welcomes thousands of senior executives, key decision makers and other industry professionals. Organizations being represented include pharmacies, health systems, pharma/biotech manufacturers, drug wholesalers, health plans, consulting firms, along with others.

Erhardt continues, “Discussions will include current perspectives, collected via multiple industry interviews and interactions on the today and tomorrow of a very changing market and how these changes might impact product launch considerations. The complexities of a changing market require innovative thinking, a fresh approach and the guidance of experts who understand the nuances. Contract negotiations reflect a new set of parameters and there’s simply no time for making avoidable errors.”
