The one-day Expo offers opportunities to meet employers, attend lectures, breakout sessions, cyber security, robotic process automation and data analytics course sessions, training, workshops and networking.

“We’re proud to sponsor WithYouWithMe that serves veterans and individuals with barriers to employment,” said Christina Winn, Executive Director, Department of Economic Development. “Our military veterans represent the best amongst us and we’re committed to serving them through career expos, small business assistance and co-working spaces that foster an entrepreneurial environment.”

Victor Angry, Neabsco District Supervisor, Prince William Board of County Supervisors said, “I am honored to be part of a key program that provides necessary resources to our large pool of highly-trained veterans, who have demonstrated the ability to transition into all types of businesses.”

“Hiring men and women who have served our Nation is one of the best ways to honor and thank veterans for their service! And, when you hire a veteran, your business gets the benefit of an employee with a strong work ethic and someone who knows how to accomplish a mission,” said Ruth Anderson, Occoquan District Supervisor, Prince William Board of County Supervisors.

“WithYouWithMe assists transitioning veterans to re-skill and up-skill in high-tech skills. Our company is committed to removing the barriers to entry for veterans seeking careers after service,” said Michelle Mosey, President, WithYouWithMe. “We help serving military, veterans and military spouses to find out what they are good at and train them for in-demand roles and link them with employers.”

“These programs ensure that we continue to build on our highly-skilled workforce and talent pipeline, provide well-paying jobs and help our entire business community remain at the forefront of technological innovation,” added Winn.

Being home to the Marine Corps Base Quantico, federal agencies and in close proximity to Fort Belvoir Army Base, Prince William County has one of the largest military veteran populations (the county and environs is home to over 180,000 highly trained military veterans) and is viewed as a strategic location for information communications technology, data analytics, governance, risk management and cyber security companies looking to connect to a highly-skilled workforce and talent pipeline.

The WYWM Career Expo will be held from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Friday, October 4, 2019, at the Regional Center for Workforce Education and Training, 2675 College Drive, Woodbridge, VA 22191, which is conveniently located one-half mile off of I-95 at Exit 156 East.
