The Quandl Data Conference will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Convene’s 46th St. location in New York City

February 21, 2019 By admin Leave a Comment

Quandl, the largest provider of alternative data for financial professionals, has announced Adena Friedman, CEO of Nasdaq, as the keynote speaker at the Quandl Data Conference, the preeminent event in the alternative data ecosystem. In addition, Quandl will introduce to the market a proprietary E-Commerce Insights platform, which offers daily, product-level and SKU-level transaction data to financial professionals.

“This year, we’ve decided to maintain what’s been so successful in previous conferences – like our data provider lightning rounds – while also setting the agenda on implementation and infrastructure,” said Tammer Kamel, CEO of Quandl. “From technical investing presentations to thought-leading panels led by renowned financial journalists, we have put together a packed agenda full of the challenges people are thinking about today.”

Attendees from leading hedge funds, investment banks and technology companies will be educated and entertained by sessions on the following topics:

Data infrastructure, architecture and supply chain
Data visualization
Discretionary applications of alternative data
Entity resolution
ESG
Novel datasets
Privacy and compliance: consent and authorization
The future of active management
Further details on the Quandl Data Conference can be found here. Tickets are now available for purchase here with discounts for groups of three or more.

About Quandl
Quandl is the largest provider of alternative data for financial professionals. The company sources, evaluates and productizes undiscovered data assets, transforming them into quantified, actionable intelligence for select institutional clients. With a customer base that includes the world’s top hedge funds, asset managers and investment banks, Quandl delivers financial, economic and alternative data to over 400,000 analysts worldwide.

Quandl was founded in 2012 by Tammer Kamel and Abraham Thomas in part because of their frustrations with the limited data and primitive delivery systems that were available to them. Headquartered in Toronto, Quandl was acquired by Nasdaq in November 2018. Learn more at www.quandl.com
